VVITU ACM Student Chapter organized an engaging and thought provoking event titled Term Twist as part of SPARDHA 2K25.The event aimed to test participants’ presence of mind and command over technical terminology by challenging them to decode jumbled computer-science words.With a competitive and energetic crowd, the event turned into one of the most lively and interactive spot activities of the fest.

The Term Twist event challenged participants to unscramble a set of jumbled technical terms within a fixed time limit. Each contestant received a list of scrambled words derived from key domains of Computer Science & Engineering – programming, AI, networking, databases, and operating systems. Participants had two minutes to rearrange the letters of each term and write the correct word on their sheet. Every correct word carried one point, and the participant with the highest total score was declared the winner. In the case of a tie, completion time served as the deciding factor. Strict rules ensured a fair contest – no mobile phones or external help were allowed. The event created an engaging learning environment where speed, accuracy, and subject knowledge came together. Students enjoyed the thrill of decoding familiar technical terms in a race against time, building both excitement and confidence.

Conclusion:

Term Twist proved to be an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable event under the ACM Student Chapter. It combined learning with entertainment, allowing students to refresh their technical concepts while showcasing agility and reasoning skills. The event concluded on a high note, receiving appreciation from participants and coordinators alike for its innovative and energizing format.
