ROBORIFT
VVIT GUNTUR ACM Student Chapter organized an offline technical event ROBORIFT on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 02:15 PM to 03:45 PM in rooms N-418, N-505 & Google Code Lab. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across 1st & 2nd years.
➢ The team size: 1
➢ Total number of participants: 140 students.
Event Poster
ROBORIFT is a tech-infused puzzle and coding challenge designed to ignite analytical thinking, fast decision-making, and collaborative problem-solving. The event placed students in a fictional high-stakes scenario where they had to save their AI companion from a digital attacker threatening to corrupt the system.ROBO RIFT is a unique, narrative-based offline event that merges the thrill of storytelling with the rigour of technical challenges, designed and executed by the VVIT ACM Student Chapter.

As the digital world around them collapses, participants must race against time to solve a series of intellectually stimulating puzzles. These include logic-based conundrums, cryptographic decryption, debugging exercises, and real-time coding tasks, each tailored to test different facets of the participant’s technical knowledge and problem-solving prowess.
The gameplay unfolds in a multi-zone format, with each stage of the challenge revealing the next piece of the story. Teams advance by cracking clues and resolving system errors that mirror real-world tech threats. The immersive environment, combined with dynamic game mechanics and a live leaderboard, keeps teams engaged and motivated throughout the experience.
The final phase intensifies the competition: participants are tasked with restoring a corrupted system by reassembling the correct algorithm and entering a recovery sequence. This high stakes conclusion blends logic and pressure, reinforcing the importance of clarity under stress.
More than just a competition, ROBORIFT acts as a skill development platform, giving
students a chance to:
Apply theoretical knowledge in simulated, hands-on environments.
Collaborate effectively in team settings.
Think critically and work efficiently under time constraints.
At the end of the event, winners were awarded appreciation certificates, and allparticipants received certificates of participation.
ROBORIFT was not just a contest, but a fun and engaging learning experience that sharpened coding skills, boosted logical thinking, and encouraged teamwork under pressure.
