PROMPT REALM
The VVITU ACM Student Chapter organised Prompt Realm, a creative prompt engineering
event, under the banner of SPARDHA 2K25. This unique competition was designed to
test the imagination, technical skills, and logical reasoning of participants through a story
driven challenge format. Unlike traditional coding contests, Prompt Realm blended
problem-solving with a narrative backdrop, making it both intellectually stimulating and
engaging for all participants. The event has gained participants upto 945 students from various
colleges.

To ensure smooth conduct, the event was organised in multiple shifts during the morning
session. Each shift began with a 20-minute setup and login phase, followed by 90 minutes
of challenge time. Participants entered the competition platform one by one, and organisers
closely monitored their progress to ensure fairness. The division into shifts provided equal
opportunity and effective management of the competition.

The event featured five questions with escalating difficulty: 2 worth 10 points, 2 worth 20
points, and 1 worth 40 points. The challenge was woven into a fantasy storyline, where
participants solved four magical puzzles — Echoes, Light, Riddles, and Realms — to collect
clue fragments and restore the Guardian’s Portrait. This unique blend of storytelling and
problem-solving made Prompt Realm one of the most captivating events of the fest.

Registration for the event was carried out through a Google Form link provided by the
organisers. Participants were required to provide their Full Name, Email ID, Contact
Number, and Preferred Programming Language (C, Java, or Python) at the time of
registration. Only duly registered individuals were permitted to enter the competition
platform.

To maintain discipline and competitive integrity, the following rules were enforced:
• No Tab Switching – Any attempt resulted in immediate disqualification.
• No Mobile Use – Phones were switched off during the event.
• Only Event Platform Allowed – External resources, browsers, or extensions were
prohibited.
• One Device Per Participant – Lab systems were allotted individually and monitored.
• Strict Time Adherence – All answers had to be submitted within the 90-minute session.

The scoring was based on accuracy, creativity of solutions, and completion within the time
frame. The maximum score was 100 points, distributed across the five questions. Judges
monitored fairness and provided feedback on performance, encouraging students to improve
their prompt design and logical reasoning approaches.

The event concluded successfully, with participants appreciating the innovative fusion of
storytelling and technical problem-solving. The Prompt Realm not only tested logical
reasoning and coding ability but also encouraged creativity in prompt design, making it one
of the most engaging and memorable competitions of SPARDHA 2K25.
