PUZZLE PARADOX

VVIT ACM Student Chapter hosted Puzzle Paradox on Friday, August 11th, 2023 from 12:30 PM. The event was part of the annual tech fest Spardha and was attended by students from various institutions.

• The event is restricted in time.
• The team size is 3.

The event received a great response from students of various institutions with over 711 participants.

The event contains various levels which initial level contains a filtering round in which the participants are provided with a set of 15 questions on general knowledge, and 18 teams are
qualified for the next level.

Round 1

The event consists of mainly 2 rounds. Round 1 contains 2 levels running parallel for 6 teams. In one level the participants are provided with a puzzle of 48 pieces. They will be awarded points based on the pieces they put together and another parallel level contains a memory maze game in which participants will be provided with a set of similar images in boxes they have the identify and memorize the pairs of similar images and note them on a paper. The 4 teams with the top combined score from these 2  levels will be qualified for the final round.

Round-2

The final round consists of rapid-fire in which each team will be asked a set of 15 questions in 1 min the team which answers the most correct answers will be declared.
