TALASH

VVIT Guntur ACM Student Chapter hosted Talash on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 1.30 AM. This event included participants from our college as well as students from other colleges.

Talash comprises Treasure hunt in which the organizers prepare a list defining specific items, which the participants seek to gather and complete all the items on the list. Each team is presented with a clue to be decrypted by the team to find their next clue

• The event is restricted in time.
• The team size is 3.
• It is a two- level event.

With a total of 360 participants, the event has been a great success.

ROUND-1

The participants are screened out for the next round in this screening test. Each team is given a set of riddle questions, both technical and non-technical, which they must respond to within a time constraint of 10 minutes. The ability to think critically and their knowledge are both put to the test. The top 18 teams are chosen to participate in the treasure hunt.

ROUND-2

At the start of the hunt, each team is given a hint. The team members must locate the next hint's location. Teams are eliminated at each location to the final one. Each hint contains a sample input and a sample output that are utilised to decode the destination. In this round the participants ability to think and also their problem solving skills is tested. The final teams should create a piece of code to launch the application at the destination.
