DEVELOPERS DUO

VVIT ACM Student Chapter organized Developers Duo on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in celebration of Engineer's Day, as part of AAVEGA 2K24. The event began at 9:00 AM and was conducted in two shifts, each lasting 90 minutes, concluding at 12:00 PM. With over 169 students from various academic years involved, the event showcased a high level of engagement and enthusiasm.

Developers Duo is a pair coding competition hosted on the HackerEarth platform, where teams competed individually across two distinct problem sets. The problem sets were categorized into Easy, Medium, and Hard levels, ensuring a well-rounded challenge. To ensure fairness, teams were assigned distinct problem sets, preventing neighboring participants from encountering the same challenges.

The structure of Developers Duo was designed to test a diverse range of skills, from basic coding techniques to advanced problem-solving strategies. Participants were evaluated on both the number of problems solved and the accuracy of their test case submissions, with a focus on speed and precision. Judging was rigorous and transparent, featuring detailed performance insights and checks to prevent code copying, ensuring high standards of integrity and fairness.

Developers Duo not only provided a competitive platform but also offered valuable insights into participants' problem-solving abilities and coding skills. The event highlighted the participants' creativity and technical expertise, contributing to the overall success of AAVEGA 2K24. Appreciation and participation certificates are given to winners and participants, with all certificates being verified to ensure authenticity.
