ACM TECHNICAL EVENTS For VIVA VVIT

Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, every year organizes a technical fest VIVA VVIT which provides a platform to the students of various engineering colleges to participate and showcase their talent and also to strengthen their resumes.

For the academic year 2022-23, VVIT Guntur ACM Student Chapter took a lead in organizing the following technical events for the maha fest VIVA VVIT 2K22-23 on 21, 22 of December 2022

• Code Wars
• Tech Avadhani
• Star Debugging
• Furbish

With a lot of enthusiasm and determination, the Chapter members and faculty coordinator of VVIT Guntur ACM student chapter organized and volunteered the events. The chair of VVIT Guntur ACM student chapter Uday Kiran helped in organizing these events with fun.

CODE WARS

VVIT Guntur ACM Student Chapter hosted Code Wars on December 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM. This event included participants from our college and students from other colleges. Registrations are done online at the website vivavvit.com and spot registrations are also accepted before the event.

A coding test called Code Wars measures the student's coding abilities. It enhances the problem-solving skills of the student and advances their coding abilities.

• The event is restricted in time.
• The team size is 1.

With a total of 38 participants, the event has been a great success.

The test has taken place on the HackerEarth platform. Each participant took part using their personal HackerEarth account. Each student is offered a time limit of one and a half hours to finish the three questions. Each question carries a variable weight in terms of marks depending on the difficulty of the problem.

Credit is assigned based on the test cases and the problem that is solved. This competition allows the competitors to test their problem-solving and coding abilities. It's a way to practice fast coding and guaranteed brain exercise. The winner is the student who received the highest score.

TECH AVADHANI

VVIT Guntur ACM Student Chapter hosted Tech Avadhani on December 21, 2022, from 1:00 PM. This event included participants from our college and students from other colleges. Registrations are done online at the website vivavvit.com and spot registrations are also accepted before the event.

‘Avadhani’ is a very knowledgeable person in many subjects, with very good memory power to answer more than one person in a sitting. Like Ashtavadhani- answering eight persons (purchases).

Tech Avadhani is an event in which each participant is questioned in sequence on different podiums. The participant's technical knowledge and memory power and also attention are tested

• It is a two-round event.
• The team size is 1-2.

With a total of 28 participants, the event has been a great success.
