AD MAD!

 

VVIT GUNTUR ACM Student Chapter organized an Offline Non-Technical event AD MAD! on Friday, Aug 2, 2024, from 02:30PM to 03:45PM. This event was attended by our college’s second-year students. AD MAD! is a team event.

The event received a great response from students, accounting for a total of 136 students.

This engaging event encourages creativity and teamwork, designed to test participants' quick thinking and innovative advertising skills. The event is structured to include two challenging levels, each bringing out the best in the participants.

In the first level, each team, consisting of three members, will be presented with 10 advertisement clips. These clips cover a range of products and services, offering a diverse challenge for the participants. For each advertisement, the teams are given 30 seconds to note down their answers on a provided sheet. This round test their observational skills and quick recall. The teams with the highest scores from this level will move on to the next stage of the event.

The second level is where creativity takes center stage. Each team will randomly select a chit containing a product name, such as coffee powder or hair oil. They will then have 5 minutes to brainstorm and come up with an innovative advertising idea for their assigned product. This level challenges the teams to think use their creativity to craft compelling advertisements. The presentations are expected to be lively and imaginative, showcasing the team's ability to sell a product through unique and engaging advertising strategies.

At the end of the event, two teams will be chosen as winners based on how original and creative their advertisement ideas are. AD MAD! is not just a test of quick thinking and creativity but also a celebration of the art of advertising. Participants will have the chance to showcase their talents, learn from each other, and enjoy a fun and stimulating experience. Appreciation and Participation certificates are given to winner, and participants.
